On 25-27 May 2022, Tho Pham attended the ESCoE Conference on Economic Measurement, co-organized by the Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence, the Office for National Statistics (ONS), and the University of Strathclyde. This annual conference is a meeting place for discussing advancements in economic measurement and recent applications of economic statistics in the analysis of welfare and inequality. Tho’s talk on implicit gender preferences hidden in online job ads in Vietnam had received great attention from attendees including academics and researchers from government/intergovernmental organizations such as the ONS and OECD.
