These images shown below were created by university graduate Catherine Hewitt as part of her final year dissertation. This dissertation was an extension of this website and investigated how the wellbeing and learning of children with SEN needs was affected during both COVID-19 school closures.

Image 2: An image created to demonstrate the change in learning and barriers encountered by families during the COVID-19 school closures. There was a common view that they must have aspects such as support, time, technology, a good working environment and motivation to be able to adapt to this new working environment.
