IT Business Partners

The IT Business Partners are accountable for establishing and maintaining professional relationships between Information Technology and specified senior customers.

They ensure that customer needs are anticipated, understood and responded to within Information Technology, and that service levels and requirements are regularly reviewed and agreed with those customers.

  • Provide strategic input to ongoing development, implementation and embedding of the IT Strategy, supporting the overarching University Strategy
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective professional relationships between Information Technology and specified senior management (customers) across the university.
  • Anticipate and understand customer needs and initiating projects to fulfil requirements in accordance with agreed service levels whilst remaining a focal point of contact throughout the projects.
  • Improve services by identifying opportunities to improve business processes via technology
