OneDrive for Business is a managed cloud storage that allows users to store files and folders online, allowing easy access from work or off-campus. Each user currently has 1TB of storage available (soon to be upgraded to 5TB). See our OneDrive for Business Information Page for details.
Onedrive is available for a use by all staff & students, and can be used for all documents you would normally store on your N: drive.
You can also share documents with other UoR staff (externally on request). Note this is easy to do, but also easy to get wrong, so you should take care when sharing documents. You should always ensure you follow the relevant data protection requirements for data sharing.
Before using Onedrive, we ask that you take the time to read the introduction documentation available on the IT web pages. This includes a link to the One Drive Usage requirements document which provides more information on the limited restrictions on the use of One Drive.
