Members of the MeRit team have shared the project’s research at seminars, conferences and lectures including to the British Museum, the University of Helsinki, the CAA-UK (Computer Applications and Quantitative Methods in Archaeology), the European Public Finds Recording Network, the Institute for Historical Research, the Medieval Settlement Research Group Winter Seminar in 2024 and in 2025, and the Society for Medieval Archaeology.
The MeRit project was the topic of the 2025 British Academy Albert Reckitt Lecture, delivered by Roberta Gilchrist, followed by an introduction to the PAS by Michael Lewis. Medieval Lived Religion: The Complex Lives of Medieval Ritual Objects | The British Academy
The team has spoken at international conferences in Austria, Denmark, Finland and Italy and organised a full-day session at the conference of the European Association of Archaeologists in 2024.
