Workshops
MeRit has provided three online workshops for FLOs and volunteers, introducing the project and providing practical training. Our training sessions focused on the identification of depictions of saints and other holy figures on artefacts and also the wide range of objects covered in religious inscriptions.
Icon identification guides
A resource was developed with the assistance of Rod Trevaskus (PAS volunteer) to aid with the identification of religious figures rendered in the ‘iconographic style’; this was based on the Langdale Rosary and done in collaboration with the V&A Museum.
