Professor in Climate Processes

I am currently seconded to Institut Pierre Simon Laplace and based at Sorbonne Université to lead the Climaviation research project on the climate impact of aviation.

Research Interests:

  • Aerosol radiative forcing of the climate system, from satellite observations and global modelling;
  • Role of aerosols in the Earth System: coupling with atmospheric chemistry, the cryosphere, the ocean, and land surfaces;
  • Atmospheric radiative transfer and remote sensing;
  • Climate impacts of aviation, especially non-CO2 effects.
