We are delighted to announce that the DEePRED project have been shortlisted for the 2018 ADE Award in the Research & Consultancy category!

The Association for Decentralised Energy Awards are designed to reward and promote innovation, best practice and achievements in the decentralised energy sector, including demand response, energy efficiency, integrated energy and heat networks.

Understanding peaks in residential electricity demand will open new opportunities for flexible demand and Demand Side Response. Little is known about the effects of Time of Use (ToU) tariffs on different socio-demographic groups. DEePRED fills this gap. The overall aim of DEePRED is to analyse the distributional effects of ToU tariffs with a view to identify clusters of users which might significantly benefit or be disadvantaged through the provision of demand flexibility.

Winners of each Award Category will be announced at a black-tie dinner held at the Guildhall in City of London on the 24th of October.
