The Department of History’s annual Stenton lecture is an opportunity for a wide audience of interested local people, school students, and university staff and pupils to hear a leading historian speak on their area of expertise. Professor Ronald Hutton is well known for his distinguished work on the history of magic, witchcraft, and paganism, as well as being a leading expert on British politics and religion under the Tudors and Stuarts.
