You may need to apply for a visitor visa if travelling abroad for the SPARC General Assembly. People from certain countries do not need to apply for a visa before travelling to the USA, UK, or China, providing you only intend to stay temporarily. - China Immigration: for details specific to your passport country, visit your embassy website. Note that China has currently strict quarantine rules and all inbound passengers are required to quarantine for at least 14 days upon arrival.
