Welcome to the Speech, Language and Communication Development clinical and applied research group in the School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences at the University of Reading.

Our research focuses on speech, language and communication development in children, in particular, children and young people with speech, language and communication needs and interventions to improve communication outcomes. We are an interdisciplinary research group, bringing together expertise in clinical linguistics and speech and language therapy. We are affiliated with the Centre for Literacy and Multilingualism.
