Four children of different races and abilities in a classroom setting

What is this project about?

The aim of this project is to explore the profiles of children with speech, language and communication needs in childhood and how they respond to speech and language therapy.  Assessments are carried out to investigate speech, language and non-verbal abilities as well as measures of behaviour and well-being. Families who attend the University of Reading Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Clinic are offered the opportunity to take part in the project.

Who is involved?

This project is a collaboration between Emma Pagnamenta, Allie Biddle, Katherine Pritchard, Sara Fincham-Majumdar, Tom Loucas, Vesna Stojanovik and Ludovica Serratrice (University of Reading) and the University of Reading Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Clinic.
