Pallant, J. (different years). SPSS survival manual; Field, A. Discovering statistics Pallant, J. (different years). SPSS survival manual; Field, A. Discovering statistics; copies are available in UoR library Julie Pallant; Andy FieldBook or book chapterNoI have recommended Julie Pallant's book to a range of students, even to students with limited knowledge and experience, to use when running statistics for their dissertations/theses. They have all found it very useful. Of course, I provide them with extra help and support to be able to understand the book.
Andy Field's book is also very useful, but it often requires the student to have some basic knowledge of the statistics.
Youtube is also very useful to help students become independent. Dr Vahid Aryadoust's videos are useful.
