What the weather is:
Sun |
Light rain |
Heavy rain |
And what the river level is:

This simulator randomly mixes pictures representing the different conditions to create combinations of these conditions that may result in flooding or not. To take part:
- Click on the Start button to set the wheels in motion.
- Look at the combination when the wheels stop and guess FLOOD or NO FLOOD and click on that button.
- The result wheel will spin to show the actual outcome.
- Were you right? Click on the why? button for an explanation.
From here you might like to see why flood prediction is important in real life or maybe meet one of the scientists involved in creating these predictions or see what happens when art and science combine!
