"Transferable Vocabulary" is a research collaboration between Oxford Brookes and Reading University.

We explored teaching of mathematical vocabulary to Year 4 and Year 5 pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and non-EAL through arts and storytelling.

Four artists and two educational professionals co-created this project to promote inclusion and understanding of maths-specific vocabulary for all.
