Flora Samuel is co-investigator on Information Design and Architecture: Combatting Drug Resistant Infection (IDAPPS) a one year Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funded project together with the Principle Investigator, Sue Walker, in Typography.

Her role has been in supporting the development of innovation competition with design practices and pharmacists to design and pilot an installation that will inform the public about the dangers of antibiotic overuse.

This work builds on the AHRC Home Improvements Ideas Lab process and has fed into the development of Creative Canal, a shortlisted AHRC R & D Hub for the Creative Economy.
