ACT-SSH

  2. Connections to act-ssh or mft are timed out when you are connected to the VPN. If you want to use act-ssh, please make sure that the VPN is disconnected.
  3. If you are connecting from a mac via terminal and can’t see any graphics display despite using the -X/-Y flag in your ssh command, check that you have a recent version of the XCode tools installed, which enables X11 graphics forwarding on macs.

Remote desktops

  1. Home WiFi connection might make the remote desktop less responsive. If possible, try using a network cable to see if it improves the situation.
