- Creating supportive environments that enables young people onto a path of self-understanding, agency and advocacy.
- Young autistic people feeling safe to be their authentic selves.
- How environmental factors have a significant impact on this.
- Giving autistic young people the knowledge and vocabulary for understanding and advocacy of their autistic identity
- Why it’s important that young people and their safe adults have shared safe spaces

The Centre for Autism Wellbeing Hub
The Wellbeing Hub is a new initiative, funded by University of Reading Alumni. The aim of the Hub is to bring together autistic people, their families, practitioners and researchers to co-produce and deliver neurodiversity-affirming activities that support autistic young people and their families to thrive and flourish.
