An update on what we’ve been up to since launching last November and our plans for this coming year:

Some updates: 

-: Since launching in 2019, we have now become a University Interdisciplinary Research Centre – this means we have some start-up funding this coming year and have just announced some internal Early Careers and other staff Fellowships (to support grant writing and bids)

-: We have a new management board (with reps from Henley Business School, ECRs, and all of our departments), in addition to our advisory board. For the management board members see: https://research.reading.ac.uk/centre-for-book-cultures-and-publishing/people/ 

-: The Edinburgh Companion to Women in Publishing, 1900-2000 has been signed off by Edinburgh University Press – this includes many contributors from our Women in Publishing event, summer 2019
