I can share the news that, with effect from August the 1st, I have been promoted to full Professor at the University of Reading School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences! What is more, this will coincide to me starting as a Director of the Centre for Literacy and Multilingualism (CeLM), so I look forward to exciting (and slightly scary!) times ahead!
These feel like big milestones, and they both come exactly ten years after I joined the School and CeLM as a lecturer in August 2015. I am deeply grateful to everyone who supported/put up with me during that journey, including my family, friends, colleagues, mentors and lab members, without whom I wouldn’t have made it here.
Off to new adventures in academia then!
