New book chapter on the Multilingual Picture Database (Multipic), in the International Encyclopedia of Language and Linguistics

This chapter reviews Multipic, a research tool comprising linguistic norms for 500 colored object images in over 30 languages or language varieties. As documented by its increasing popularity, Mutlipic has rapidly become an invaluable resource for experts in the field of psycholinguistics, not only because it provides norms in many languages, including underrepresented ones, but also a large set of translation equivalents across the same languages.
