What is the project about?

This comprises of two phases of research. Th first aimed to explore the challenges women face in leadership roles within climate action initiatives in Kenya. The second phase examines educational barriers and enablers to climate action, specifically how schools, universities, and institutions can create more inclusive routes into climate action.

Who is running the project?

PI Karen Jones, IOE, UoR in partnership with Prof. Faith Karanja, University of Nairobi, Kenya. The project team also includes Mary Wanyua Mwangi, University of Nairobi and Jo Anna Reed Johnson, IOE, UoR.
