Prima attended the Ocean Modelling Meeting in Met Office, Exeter in September 2017. She gave a talk titled ‘Exploring Structural Sensitivity in a Marine Biogeochemical Model. She explored on whether the perturbed biology ensemble model (whereby each ensemble members is embedded with a different combination of functional forms, which describe key plankton processes) as a whole and the ensemble mean has improved the 1D MEDUSA simulation. The effect of structural sensitivity on the model output and phytoplankton phenology have also been reported in the talk.
