Shovon co-organised a Thematic Session on “Linking functional diversity of terrestrial and marine primary producers – the potential of remote sensing” at the Ecology Across Borders meeting in Ghent.

Shovon also gave a talk on “Remote sensing the dynamics, bio-diversity, size classes and functional types of marine plankton communities” at the this Thematic Session.

Rob presented a poster on “Modelling mackerel using remotely-sensed estimates of food availability and temperature”, within the Population Ecology session.
