Anneliese Dodds, MP, is a British politician who is the current Chair of the Labour Party, Shadow Secretary of State for Women and Equalities, Labour MP for Oxford East. Prior to this, she served as the first woman Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer (April 2020 – May 2021), MEP for South East England (2014 – 2017). In addition, Anneliese is a public policy analyst and was a Lecturer in Public Policy at Kings College London and Aston University.

The topic of her lecture is ‘Equal Footing, why we can’t afford to ignore equality?’ Anneliese will draw from her deep and varied expertise to explore this important topic. The lecture presentation will be followed by an open Q&A session.
