Andrew Daymond (School of Agriculture Policy & Development) has been funded by the BBSRC for the project ‘Development of selection traits for breeding resilient cocoa varieties – Mondelez CTP’  as a lead investigator with partners.

Sarah Cardey (School of Agriculture Policy & Development) has been granted funding as part of the ‘Gender Equality Partnership’ from the British Council

David Brayshaw (School of Mathematical Physical & Computational Sciences) has been funded to serve as lead investigator by Innovate UK on a research project that serves to ‘integrate weather academia into the energy industry’  in order to create a more resilient energy system. This project represents the University’s ongoing involvement in Knowledge Transfer Partnerships.

Andy Turner (School of Mathematical Physical & Computational Sciences) has been granted NERC funding for ongoing research as co-investigator as part of the National Centre for Atmospheric Science in 2025/26.

Jessica Bosseaux (School of Agriculture Policy & Development) is co-investigator on a new project ‘Bridging Theory And Practice For Actionable Change In Transforming Food Systems (BRIDGE-ACT)’ and has been given a standard research grant by BBSRC
