We tackle the social, legal and political challenges of deepfake technology while seeking imaginative applications of image and voice manipulation. Our members prototype AI-generated photo-realistic synthetic media in areas such as film and screen, healthcare, and education. We provide a forum for circulating ideas and foregrounding the ethical, business, regulatory and legal issues surrounding synthetic media.
