Aleem Hossain is a writer-director whose creative work is shaped by his multi-racial background. His father is a Muslim from Bangladesh and his mother grew up Catholic in the United States. His feature film, “After We Leave,” won best film at Sci-Fi London and is now on Amazon. Film Threat called it “a shining example of indie filmmaking at its finest.” He is also the director of the hybrid fiction-doc short film “On The Blue Table” and the AI generated faux-docu-essay film, “Do Bangladroids Dream of Electric Tagore?” Aleem is the Assistant Professor of Digital Storytelling at Occidental College in Los Angeles.
