Christian Darkin has been creating visual effects and animation for TV and film for over 20 years, and his work has been nominated several times for various TV awards.

He created the deepfakes for “Gerry Anderson, A Life Uncharted” and other TV projects, and is now actively researching, developing and using AI technology in all aspects of video production.

This has included experimenting with an AI pipeline to research, script, voice, create virtual people for, and edit complete videos.  Christian has created code for using large language models, retrained models for specific jobs and worked with text to image, text to video, voice creation and deepfake Ais.

He’s also a journalist, having written about computer technology in the creative industries for The Times, The Guardian, The FT and dozens of magazines and news outlets.

In addition, he’s the author of the bestselling “Act Normal” chapter books for children, and an illustrator combining watercolour, acrylic, digital and AI art.
