We are now recruiting for 3 PhD positions based at the Department of Meteorology, University of Reading, as part of the Dust-DN Network, also offering 17 PhD positions on Atmospheric Dust at Institutions across Europe.

The PhD positions are fully funded for 36 months, and are open to international/home applications (subject to MSCA mobility requirements).

Start dates: February to October 2025

  • Enhancing the Understanding of the Dust Direct Radiative Effect (Supervisors: Maria Joao Costa (University of Evora, Portugal), Claire Ryder (Reading); Double PhD between UK and Portugal)
