Online learning opportunities
The need for high-quality meteorological information is becoming widespread as businesses, policy-makers and stakeholders seek to identify, understand and manage the risk of a changing climate. The Energy-Meteorology Research Group is therefore pleased to have helped develop a number of emerging online training courses seeking to support climate-information users in this complex and challenging space. With colleagues across the University, we have created a free-to-attend FutureLearn short course on Climate Intelligence: Using Climate Data to Improve Business Decision-Making. For a more in-depth introduction, we recommend our 6-week online taught course Climate Services and Climate Impacts Modelling (next edition planned for Spring 2025).
