• Lists that have external recipients will be moving to a new service called LISTSERV (*@MAILLISTS.READING.AC.UK)

How to subscribe: distribution lists

• If you want to subscribe to an internal distribution list, please either email the owner of the list, or email met-adcov2@reading.ac.uk if you do not know who the owner is.
  • Note: staff and students are automatically subscribed to the relevant administrative/student lists as appropriate

How to subscribe: LISTSERV mail lists

• (Un)Subscribe to a LISTSERV list by filling in a form located at https://maillists.reading.ac.uk/
  • Find the list you would like to subscribe to (e.g., MET-JOBS) and click on it
    • If you cannot find the list, that means it is private and you have to contact the list owner to be added/removed
  • Click on the 3 horizontal bars, and then on “Subscribe or Unsubscribe”
  • You must use your Reading email address (or one with connections with the department, e.g., the Met Office)
  • You may need to register a password with LISTSERV before you can access these lists. To do this, select “log in” in the top right of the screen and on the following screen select register password below the “log in” button
  • Once you have subscribed to a list, send your emails to <LISTNAME>@MAILLISTS.READING.AC.UK
  • Please note: all messages to any of these lists are (potentially) accessible from outside the University network
