Regina is a PDRA at the University of Reading working on the LEMONTREE project to add capacity for representing management strategies in fire models. She brings a background in soil ecology, disturbance, and natural climate solutions to support integration of eco-evolutionary optimality theory-based approaches. Regina previously evaluated carbon accumulation after riparian reforestation as a PDRA in the Soil Plant Atmosphere Lab at the University of Oregon, in collaboration with The Nature Conservancy. She completed her PhD at Oregon State University, where she studied impacts of wildfire and other disturbances on soil ecosystem processes.
