Chris is a PhD candidate in the School of Public Health at Imperial College London, co-supervised by Professor Sandy Harrison. His research investigates the population health impacts of landscape fire-related air pollution across Africa, with a particular focus on child health outcomes and health inequalities. His work integrates satellite-derived fire emissions and climate data with demographic and socioeconomic datasets to investigate spatial patterns of exposure and vulnerability, and to estimate the health burden attributable to fire-related air pollution.
