Lucas Ellison was a PDRA at the University of Reading, where he used outputs from climate model ensembles to quantify uncertainties in current and future vegetation predictions arising from the stochastic nature of climate. During his PhD at the University of Hawai‘i, he developed a framework for identifying and analyzing the drivers and impacts of simulated North American drought events and assessed the role of uncertainty in these simulations using multi-model initial-condition large ensembles.
Lucas now works at WTW Insurance Brokers.
