A new blog post reports on the ongoing roll-out of PICSA with farmers in Haiti. The post was written by Dr Caroline Staub of the Feed the Future AREA project at the University of Florida, who are leading the roll-out of PICSA in Haiti. Dr Staub begins by describing the vulnerability of Haitian farmers to the variable and changing climate. She then introduces the PICSA approach and explains how it helps farmers to cope with the challenges they are facing. Dr Staub also accounts for the differences between different farmers, and then finishes by showing how farmers are now training each other in PICSA. The post features direct accounts from farmers about their experiences of PICSA.
