Languages in Primary Schools project

The Languages in Primary Schools research project explores the role of foreign language learning (French, Spanish and Latin) in developing learners’ understanding of languages more broadly and their knowledge about how languages ‘work’. The findings will help us to understand the wider impact of language learning and whether the effects differ depending on whether children are learning French, Spanish or Latin.
