Are you an Early Career Researcher with an interest in Neuroscience and Neurodegeneration?
Join the ARUK ECR Science Meeting at Reading!

Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) Thames Valley Network (TVN) Early Career Researcher Committee presents:

One day ARUK Science Meeting on “Methods in Neuroscience Research”, 7th November 2024

These meetings also run at Oxford University, and the aim is to give ECRs a dedicated space to discuss science informally, receive feedback and share troubleshooting. The TVN edition will also present an opportunity to strengthen connections between different departments at the University of Reading.

These meetings are a space to meet other ECRs and casually discuss and be open about your work including the scientific experiments that didn’t work as you had hoped for, and to think about ideas together that could help you and other ECRs to advance their science. Please bring the ideas and topics you would like to discuss!
This meeting will focus on Methods in Neuroscience Research with talks from several ECRs about their work and challenges faced. There
will also be a talk outlining the many activities organised by the ARUK ECR Committee.
Refreshments will be provided!

When: 3-5pm on November 7th
Where: University of Reading Health & Life Sciences Building – Room G03

Please register by the 31st of October for this event here: https://forms.office.com/e/6awPvXqube
