We were pleased to welcome last week our new early career researchers, including new PhD and MSc Placement students to CINN.
The week’s activities provided an in-depth orientation to the centre’s research facilities, with lab tours and team introductions building a strong foundation for their training in the centre’s research environment.
Highlights included the inaugural session of our new Ultrasound Club in the physiology lab, and briefings on MRI procedures, health and safety, and AP training preparation. Students were also introduced to the EEG, neurostimulation and pain labs, gaining insight into these key research areas. Talks by current PhD students and CINN-affiliated Principal Investigators provided further perspectives on the exciting research underway at the centre.
We’re very much looking forward to supporting everyone with their training goals and research development, and to working closely with the students on their placements and research projects this year.
