This summer, we were delighted to welcome students from the Reading Scholars Programme to CINN, where they experienced a range of neuroscientific techniques used in our research.

During their visit, the students had the opportunity to watch an MRI scan in real time, learn how to prepare an EEG cap, try their hand at ultrasound scanning, and observe a demonstration of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

The Reading Scholars Programme, run by the University of Reading, gives Year 12 students a real taste of undergraduate life while providing practical support as they begin their higher education application journey.
