Dr Kou Murayama wins the Leverhulme Research Leadership Award, worth £1 million.
Taking place once every four years, the Leverhulme Research Leadership Award is given to support academics who need to build a research team of sufficient scale to tackle a distinctive research problem.
The award provides £1 million over 5 years and will be used by Murayama to for his research: “An integrative theory of interest: How can we motivate ourselves without extrinsic incentives?”
