The 61st Annual Meeting of the Academy of Aphasia will be hosted by the University of Reading, Whitenights campus, UK. The on-campus conference venues will be the Palmer Building on the 21st and 22nd of October (Saturday and Sunday) and the Meadow Suite in the historic Park House on the 23rd of October (Monday). Saturday’s opening night reception will take place at the Museum of English Rural Life, which explores the history of the English countryside and its people.

This year’s program includes keynote presentations by Prof. Sophie Scott of University College London (UCL) and Dr. Sudha Seshadri of the University of Texas, Health Science Center at San Antonio. The program also features eight, thematically organized platform sessions, and an interactive lunchtime panel discussion entitled Equity in Science. Across the eight platform sessions, two symposia and one mini-workshop are incorporated. The program also affords dedicated time slots for each of three in-person poster presentation sessions and for each of two virtual poster presentation sessions.
