Follow-Up Appointment
Your follow-up appointment is a chance for a clinician to talk through the results of your assessment in more detail, explaining any diagnoses that have been given and answering any of your questions. At this point, they will also talk you through any treatment that may be suitable and discuss research in which you may like to take part. Follow-ups typically last around 60 minutes, but will depend on the research you have been offered.
Though some research studies can require more than one visit to the clinic, others simply involve filling out a few questionnaires at your follow-up appointment. If you are eligible for any of our research studies, a researcher will contact you before the follow-up appointment and send you further information about the studies.
