AnDY Clinic Students

In the AnDY Clinic, clinical assessments are often carried out by postgraduate and undergraduate students who have joined the team on a year-long professional placement that forms part of their wider training in psychology. All placement students have either completed an undergraduate degree in psychology or are about to enter the final year of their undergraduate studies. We employ a rigorous selection process to make sure all placement students have the right combination of knowledge, skills, and experience to perform their role to the highest standard. In addition, given the importance of their role, all placement students carrying out assessments receive high-quality training and close supervision from qualified Clinical Psychologists throughout their time at the clinic. We highly value  the contribution that placement students make to AnDY and are incredibly proud of the work they carry out.
