Talk and Demonstration: Allen Seaby and Colour Wood-Block Printing

Martin Andrews (Sessional Lecturer, Department of Typography & Graphic Communication) will be discussing the life and work of Allen Seaby, followed by a demonstration of how to create a colour wood-block print, a technique that made Allen Seaby famous.  Come to the Classics Department and find out more about this style, try printing for yourself, and visit the Ure Museum’s exhibition “Allen Seaby’s Archaeology for Children“!
