The first annual EIT Food FoodTrustReport is live, conducted by a consortium academic partners including the University of Reading, the European Food Information Council, Aarhus University, KU Leuven, and the University of Warsaw.

The study of 19,800 consumers from 18 European countries reveals trust in the food industry has increased over the course of 2020, yet most consumers don’t consider the food sector to be working in the public interest.
As the world recovers from the COVID19 pandemic, the findings suggest there’s an opportunity for the industry to react and meet consumer demand regarding health and sustainability.
