Postdoc in Psycholinguistics

Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Psycholinguistics

Application Deadline: 25/02/2019

Interview Date: 11/03/2019

Applications are invited for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Psycholinguistics to join our lab. The successful applicant will work on a Leverhulme Trust funded research project on sentence comprehension in native and non-native English speakers. The aim of the project is to investigate which factors influence successful non-native language acquisition and processing, with a particular focus on how similarity-based interference influences sentence processing during native and non-native reading comprehension.

We are seeking a highly-capable and highly-motivated researcher to work on this project. Experience with running and analysing psycholinguistic experiments with adults, especially eye-tracking during reading, and an understanding of contemporary research in sentence processing and second language acquisition are a must.

This is a full-time post with a fixed term contract of 36 months. For informal enquiries, please contact Dr Ian Cunnings (i.cunnings@reading.ac.uk). For more information and to apply for this post, please follow this link to the official job advert.
