The University of Reading has a number of PhD studentships available that applicants can apply for to begin PhD study in September 2022. More details for three specific calls that staff in the lab would be interested in supporting are provided below.
SeNSS PhD Studentships (Deadline: Expressions of interest by December 10th, 2021)
The University of Reading is part of the ESRC funded SeNSS Doctoral Training Partnership which awards studentships for either 3-year PhD study, or combined MSc/PhD study involving a 1-year MSc followed by 3-year PhD. These studentships are open to UK and international applicants. Interested applicants should contact firstname.lastname@example.org with an expression of interest as soon as possible, and no later than December 10th, 2021.
Magdalen Vernon Studentship (Deadline: December 10th, 2021)
The School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences also offers the Magdalen Vernon Studentship. This is a 4-year PhD award that covers UK fees and provides a graduate teaching assistantship. International students are welcome to apply if they are able to make up the difference between UK and international fees. Eligibility for UK applicants is defined as being a UK national, have settled or pre-settled status, or have indefinite leave to remain. All other applicants will be treated as international. The deadline for applications is December 11th, 2021.
University International Research Studentships (Deadline: January 10th, 2022)
The University of Reading also offers 3-year International Research Studentships studentships to (non-UK) international students which cover fees at the international rate and a subsistence grant (stipend). The deadline for applications for International Studentships is January 10th, 2022.
