We would be happy to hear from you if you are interested in completing a postdoc in our lab. In the first instance, please contact an appropriate member of Staff within the lab to discuss your ideas for a postdoc project. Funding for postdoctoral positions is mostly external, and we are happy to support applications to the relevant funding agencies. Please see below for a list of funding opportunities we are happy to support. Please note this list is not exhaustive, so if you know of another funding opportunity that you are interested in applying to, please let us know.
SEDarc PostDoctoral Fellowship 2024
As a member of the SEDarc Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP), we welcome applications for the SEDarc Postdoctoral Fellowship. This is a 1-year position for those who have recently completed their PhD (within the last 12-14 months). The application involves two stages, an Expression of Interest phase (deadline March 25th, 2024), followed by a full application by invitation only, to be submitted by May 16th, 2024. MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024
The MSCA European Postdoctoral Fellowship offers funding for up to two years to complete a postdoc within Europe. Luckily we can now host MSCA postdocs, as the UK is now a Horizon Europe Associated Country. This call will open in April 2024, with a deadline of September 11th, 2024. Interested applicants should contact a member of Staff within the lab as soon as possible if they want to apply for this postdoc.
British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship
We are happy to support applications to the 3-year British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship competition. Please note that the competition for 2023/24 has now closed. This competition usually has a deadline each year in October, so if you are interested in applying during the 2024/25 round, do please contact a member of Staff to discuss your ideas.
Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowship
We are also happy to support applications to the 2-year Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowship. The competition for 2023/24 is now closed, but we welcome expressions of interest for the 2024/25 round.
