The CDRs created in the FIDUCEO project were carefully chosen to be complementary in various ways to datasets generated with existing programmes (Climate Change Initiative, Climate Monitoring SAF, etc).
The CDRs developed were:
- Sea Surface Temperature and Lake surface temperature ensemble CDR
- Upper Tropospheric Humidity CDR
- Albedo and Aerosol CDR from Meteosat 5 and 7
- Albedo Aerosol CDR over Europe/ Northern Africa from AVHRR FCDR
The CDR datasets, derived from the newly generated FIDUCEO FCDRs, are exemplars on how the improvements in the FCDRs are propagated through the satellite data stream processing chain.
